Behind The Library
Marvin McMahon, a Sweden-based composer, curated an eclectic collection of sounds from his past work in soundtracks, sync albums, and trailer music. His intimate knowledge of his instrument collection and his unique effects chain, recorded in his Berlin studio, captured each instrument’s subtle, vintage character, making every note a reflection of his personality and artistry.
We created this collection to reflect Marvin’s personality and style as a composer. Every sound is custom-made by him, blending acoustic and electronic sources into something deeply personal.
What makes it special is the heart Marvin put into every choice. Featured in countless films and albums, these sounds carry his signature touch. We set out to build a keys and pad instrument with a personal character, and we believe this one does just that.
The result is a simple, plug-and-play library that lets Marvin's introspective, subtle, and emotive sounds shine through exactly as he envisioned.
Concept
Marvin recorded these sounds over several years, carefully playing, capturing, and editing each one. Staying true to his compositional methods, he used a range of microphones and gear from his personal collection to give each sound its unique character.
His Berlin home studio—a cozy, intimate space—set the perfect mood for capturing these deeply personal sounds. Now based in Sweden, Marvin continues to explore new sonic landscapes.
