our artwork explained
part of our new instrument line-up and the way we record it, is the art. here's why.
__________
where's the art?
we create custom art throughout our instruments and shop, creating a visual language that connects everything.
with our instruments, every sound has its own unique visual representation, an interpretation of how it feels.
why the art?
we really wanted to create a consistent look across our instruments and how we present ourselves.
we think that besides the sounds the art itself can really inspire your creativity in the moment.
we wanted to make instruments that aren't just functional, but actually feel like something too.
less learning, more doing
sometimes you just want to open an instrument that's easy to understand, and inspires you by how you play, without knowing what you might discover.
we don't make the type of instruments where you go:
"i need some spiccatos." ↳ [load]
we make ones that are more along the lines of:
"i need something that feels organic, but doesn't sound literally like the instrument."
↳ [tweaking + making it your own]
art inspires, art encourages
we thought: "why don't we combine the senses?!"
the artwork is there to act as visual support and inspiration that instills extra confidence in your creativity.
we made the experience that when you're in full-on creative mode, having an artistic, visual impulse, you play the instrument differently than when you don't have it.
when you haven't fully realized an idea, the art can act as an encourager, letting your mind wonder off and make things you might otherwise have too technicallythought about before.
