simple, characterful, imperfect
SOURCE: CLARINET, GUITAR, STRINGS, SYNTHS
a diverse instrument collection,
made into mood-ready textures,
making into the perfect foundation
for your next music cue.

simple
+ usable
imagine your next film score, built on a foundation of unique sounds, and it's totally free.
that's what we (kirsten + thomas) wanted to make: a custom instrument collection that's an instant toolkit for inspiration and the perfect musical canvas for your creative flow.
we edited and manipulated sounds from various organic instrument sources, experimented with "which combinations of instruments could really make for a unique and useful sound", and made them into distinctive cinematic textures.
organic
+ destinctive

spend time on your music,
not technology.
we believe less is more when it comes to our interfaces,
making them simple and intuitive.
spend less time learning,
more time making music.
we made these textures over several days in germany, editing each one from recordings that never made it into their own standalone instruments.
we wanted to stay true to our sampling and editing methods, and used a variety of effects processing to give each sound its unique character.
we wanted to create a free collection of useful sounds that inspire - sounds that can be a solid foundation for a film cue or for mood-heavy atmospheric music.
we thought that there aren't many free sound collections that explore the lesser common sounds out there and can be used as an instant "mood maker".
