we spent three days at our inlet studio in los angeles with session violist hailey walterman.
we focused on capturing the viola's delicate quality, its ability to create sounds that feel both present and on the verge of fading.
hailey's deep understanding of her instrument brought out incredible nuances, ensuring every captured performance feels light and airy.

we recorded hailey over three days in los angeles.
we used multiple microphones and tried to explore something lighter and airy in the viola’s voice.
hailey's deep knowledge of her instrument allowed us to create something that feels organic, evolving, and shimmering.
we wanted to create a viola library that’s more than just a collection of traditional sounds.
we wanted to bring airy textures and organic warmth into this instrument, with a light sense of fading sound.
we wanted to make a creative tool that feels inspiring from the moment you start playing.
we found that most viola libraries tend to focus on melody or harmony, but we wanted to make unique, shimmering and airy textures that can fill the creative tapestry of your music, coloring your compositions in organic ways.
