we spent a full day at hollywood scoring, one of la's go-to studios, really exploring what the double bass could do.we weren't just recording notes; we were trying to capture its harsh, unpredictable true voice, recording that immense, unrelenting power that can sit deep in a horror cue.

we recorded with los angeles-based session musician jules levy, who has worked on countless soundtrack recordings such as beverly hills cop: axel f, babylon, encanto, and many more, and brought his expertise as a session player to the table.
