that's what we (kirsten + thomas) wanted to make: a custom instrument collection that's an instant toolkit for inspiration and the perfect musical canvas for your creative flow.
ORGANIC + DISTINCTIVE
the sound sources come from clarinets, guitar, strings and synths, which we creatively manipulated to make versatile hybrid textures that keep their raw quality. they are distinctive cinematic textures that thrive within emotion-forward and neo-classical music.
BEHIND THE SCENES ↴
WHERE
we made these textures over several days in germany, editing each one from recordings that never made it into their own standalone instruments.
we wanted to stay true to our sampling and editing methods, and used a variety of effects processing to give each sound its unique character.
WHY
we wanted to create a free collection of useful sounds that inspire - sounds that can be a solid foundation for a film cue or for mood-heavy atmospheric music.
we thought that there aren't many free sound collections that explore the lesser common sounds out there and can be used as an instant "mood maker".
